Hints for Pups - #1

I have decided that my Human should not be the only one imparting hints to the masses. So, today I present to you the first in a series of hints that I will have for pups. I thought of it this morning when I was staring at a bowl that had previously contained oatmeal. I realized that the harder you stare at something, the more likely that it will be yours.

I decided that it was more important for me to jot this hint down, so I abandoned my quest of the oatmeal bowl.

I make sacrifices to educate the pups.

Please remember that.

I found a website where you can put in a website and convert it to music. If you click on this link, you can hear what the World of Turbo sounds like! Of course it isn't as beawootiful as a husky's voice.

I also put in the stupid vacuum cleaner's blog address in the site. Not surprising, it was as annoying as a vacuum cleaner's voice!

I don't understand exactly how the site processes websites, but there is an "About" link on the page.

Another Way Humans Are Inferior To Dogs

I have a new husky blogging friend, Demon Flash Bandit. He is quite the thinking dog. Today he got me thinking of the multiple ways that dogs are superior to humans. He mentioned the weird way they eat; woo know, by using sporks and things.

So, I thought I'd mention that dogs have superior snooters. The picture on the left is of me standing in the doorway smelling cows and goats. They live next "door." Human snooters can't smell things unless those things are right in front of them.

Huskies Win!

It's a good week for huskies. First, Dubs the U of Washington mascot is takes 1st place in the 2010 NCAA competition. And then the woman basketball huskies of Connecticut win 1st place in the 2010 NCAA woman basketball competition! I think these are signs of my victory for US Congress in the Fall. Woooo!

Here is a picture of all of us (except for Lex) celebrating the husky victories:

Reasons That Spring Can Be Stupid

  1. The snow goes away.
  2. It gets warmer. Sometimes even hot.
  3. Lightning.
  4. Thunder.
  5. Ticks
  6. Mosquitos.
  7. Frogs (I let Lex add that one. I don't really care about the frogs, but Lex does. He's scared of spring peeper frogs!)
  8. Rain storms (But the upside is that there is then mud. Nothing wrong with mud!)
  9. Lightning AND thunder combined.

What's Going On

I found out about a Sibe who ran off in North Dakota 5 months ago. She ended up 1,700 miles away in Los Angeles. Her family is very happy to have Bonnie back! In honor of that no longer lost Sibe, I am putting a picture of me looking very cute on this post.

In other news, it's starting to get hot. As you should know, I do not like hot weather.

Also, my Human cooked salmon today for lunch. But she did not share it with me. I find that very inappropriate!

And in closing, I allowed all of my other pack mates to improve the looks of their blogs. I even allowed them to each post something. I am very generous. If you feel like visiting them, I am closing with their linked blog names:

No Historical Dog In MO

There was an article in our local newspaper that Missouri's House of Representatives decided that they weren't going to have a official State Historical Dog. A couple 4th Grade humans had asked Rep. Jason Brown, Republican from Platte City to honor Seaman, the Newfie who accompanied Lewis and Clark on their trip across the USA 200 human years ago.

I want to quote what Rep. Jake Zimmerman, Democrat from Olivette, MO had to say:

"Do we need a state historical dog?" Zimmerman said. "Really, can't we just say it's enough?"

And then the article quotes another Representative, Vicki Englund, Democrat from St. Louis:

"If we're going to have an official dead dog of Missouri, we should make sure it actually came to Missouri,"

Pup, talk about insensitive!

I have not been asked to give a comment yet, but I will give you a preview: "Representatives Zimmerman & Englund are stupid!"

And then I will go on to offer to be the State Official Current Dog. I don't know why they'd turn me down.
