News from Kansas

.

I received an e-mail from my pal Dave yesterday:

Dear Tubey,

I sent the attached picture to K and Kali in Mexico City. Their mom recognized what an astonishing find we made, and thought we should let someone important know. I immediately thought of you!

Yeah...... there we were, minding our own business (and DOING some business) out on a big walk yesterday, when what to my wondering eyes did appear???!!?? The world's largest spool of thread! Stormy found one, too! It was INCREDIBLE! We had to get mom to take our pictures - I even sent them to the quilt group! They thought it was cool and wondered how mom was going to thread it through her Bernina? (Wooing out loud!)

We left them there. Who knows? Maybe they belong to a GIANT who's gonna want them back!

Thought you'd want to know!

Dave

Vacuums on the Prowl

My friend Dave, the Haik-woo author saw my post about the stupid Dyson Animal in our house. He had this to say:

"I don't wanna scare you or anything, but I've seen that SAME THING here at our house! You don't think they roam the country tormenting Sibes, do you? I don't LIKE that thing - it yells real loud. I can't understand what it's saying, either - I don't speak Dyson. I should ask Storm. She knows some foreign languages -- she even speaks cat. Anyway - here's a pic of one trying to attack Zimmie! Can you believe that?!!?"

Dave continued: "The vacuum we had before the Orecks and the Dyson had a light on it. We thought it was a fire-breathing dragon. Zim killed it. He slayed it. Here's a pic of the Z-man in action. He's such a cool little brother."

I think we all need to be concerned!

Snowballs to the West of Me

Drill SGT Zim, a friend of ours from Manhattan, Kansas, reported to us that he was helping his mom in the garden and she pointed out a SNOWBALL bush to him! They are actually growing snowballs in Kansas! He promised to send some to me.

He lives with the Army of Four, which is comprised of Supreme Commander Stormy and the unranked Amber and Dave. Each one of them, separately and grouply, are very cool Sibes!

Zim gives me hope that I may still see snow.
