Tara's New Blog

Tara is a Siberian Husky who lives in British Columbia. Her human saw some of our photos on our Flickr site and inspired Tara to create her own blog, Dogging It. One thing this world definitely needs is more dogs (in general) and huskies (in particular) who blog.

She said that Lex is who inspired her to get the blog.

An update on Koda. He is back with his humans. And someone over at Sibernet squealed so now my Human knows that Koda was on his way over to my house for the big party I was throwing!

In other news, here's another picture of me looking at Lex!

Real or Fake?

Someone on that listserve thingie that the humans use to mock and attempt to foil our plans for world domination posted some links to photos of a husky that had climbed a tower. Do you think they are real or fake?

Of course I don't doubt the talents of my fellow huskies, but I don't buy that these photos are real. I found some discussion on this on line, but I think that these photos are a few years old, so I'm late to the dance. The website whose name is on the photos states on their homepage: "Warning: This is a parody site. It is not affiliated with any product or service that may be parodied on this site. This site is for entertainment purposes only."

My Human once manipulated a photo of me and my sister, Clover (and she isn't even very skilled with Photoshop):

"What Breed Are You?"

We were looking through my Human's e-mail and saw a discussion on that group that likes to discuss their huskies on an internet quiz that humans can take to determine what breed they would be if they were fortunate enough to be a dog.

Their take on Siberian huskies is a bit insulting!

Hey there, lost your marbles? You're a space cadet! You forget people's names easily, forget where you put things, and sitting through an opera - well, forget it. But you're no bonehead - your mind just wanders. Your nature assures you'll never hold grudges and you don't sweat the small stuff. You avoid making enemies by not being one to sniff around someone else's business.

I think we need to come up with a quiz for those of us of the canine persuasion to take to determine what type of human we'd be. (Dog forbid!!!)
