Dogs In The White House

woo!

I found an interesting article on the website of one of the Senators from the state I live in. It tells all about dogs who have lived in the White House. I've not spoken with Senator Bond, but perhaps he would be willing to endorse my Presidential campaign. He seems to be pro-canine.

Here's my favorite part of the article (emphasis mine):

The little Scottie was fed at 7 p.m everyday by [Franklin Delano] Roosevelt after doing tricks for those looking on.

I am very impressed that Fala, the Scottish Terrier, was able to teach FDR to perform a show before dinner. Dinner is always better with entertainment.

Woo look very good sitting in the White House, Tubey. Our humans are pretty dull, no show before dinner. Except Star has them both trained to put human-food goodies like Cheerios on her dinner "to get her to eat."
