I read an article about the Democrat Party's Primary in Michigan. Do the resident's of Michigan really prefer to be refered to as Michiganians?

The human woman is from Northern Indiana, right next to Michigan. They call the vast expanse of that area: Michiana. Apparently Indianagan was too stupid. She is a Hoosier (yes, there was a movie about that, but that was in southern Indiana, therefore she doesn't have that southern drawl you hear in that horrid basketball movie). Apparently since Hoosier was taken that's all they had left: Michiganians. I have no idea what Hoosier is suppose to be either.

I think about this idea of names a lot, particularly with dogs. What does Ari call herself? What does she call me? It reminds me of a great Far Side cartoon where two humans were exchanging greetings: "Hi this is my dog, Rex." Meanwhile, the dogs had their own: "Greetings. I am Sharina, destroyer of all that is furry." I know you canines would come up with something much better than we stupid humans.
