Stupid Heat

I hate hot weather. I'm sure you all know that when I'm President that I will be banning it.

We've also had a lot of stupid rain and stupid storms. But our local ABC affiliate is very stupid. During their weather segment this week they had a graphic similar to this:



I guess they were expecting an influx of dead South Carolina Senators in our area, but I didn't see any. Just rain and lightning and thunder.

A day or so later, this same TV station was talking about sports and how some baseball player hit a doubel. Apparently, that is very rare!

I apologize for being really far behind on visiting your blogs. I'm going to blame it on my Human.

House Trees

As I've mentioned at least twice before, my Human is stupid. She's stupid for a lot of reasons, but most recently because she is refusing to put up a tree in our house for this holiday season. I've decided to take matters into my own paws and I am on a quest to find the perfect tree to live in our house. I like these trees a lot. I can't decide which tree to use, so I have decided that they will all move in with us.

Questions Not Asked

Tonight I'm going to answer a question that I've not been asked.

Q: What are the 2 the stupidest things your Human has done that impacted you?

A: Thank you for that well thought out question. One night she forgot to feed us. She realized we hadn't been fed the next day when she emptied the dishwasher and found our bowls in it. She knew she hadn't washed the dishes the night before!

Then another night, she sort of woke up and let us go outside. Lex came back inside and my Human closed the door with the rest of us outside and went back to sleep. When she woke up that morning, she was surprised that Lex was the only dog inside!

Amnesty?

I've been thinking about amnesty lately.

Do you think that I need to offer amnesty to things I am going to ban when I'm president? I'm pretty strongly against it. If I am wise enough to ban something stupid (like epilepsy, hot weather, thunder, and squirrels), why would I turn around and give the stupid thing amnesty. I want to be consistant...not stupid!
