Stay Tuned!

.

Roo Roo has been complaining that I haven't posted enough pictures of her lately. I'll do it, but I reminded her that she has her own blog and she can post what ever she wants there.

I'm "on assignment." But not the sort of "on assignment" that some stupid radio show hosts say they are on when they decide to take a day off. (My Human leaves the radio on a talk station when she gone...also when she's home...all humans are stupid!)

I'm working on an exposé on how humans are defaming canines! I think I'm going to start an organization to fight this. Let me just give you one example of what I'm going to talk about. "Dog's don't know it's not bacon!"

More later!

Sunday Night

.

First of all, who ever can identify where the words at the top of my blog page came from gets to earn a reward. The reward is that I get to eat a treat. I think that's a great reward!

Second of all, Tierre has tagged me to come up with 7 things about me. I need a day or so to think about it.

Third of all, I'm starting to think about who will be my running mate in my Presidential campaign. There's a lot of good dogs out there to consider. It's a ruff decision because I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Except maybe Lex. He's not going to be my running mate because he's stupid.

Fourth of all, I don't get what the difference is between a melon and a squash. They are both roundish things that grow on vines. And they both have seeds in them. I think they are the same things, but stupid humans just came up with 2 different words to confuse everydog. I propose that they should be called squelons or melshes.

Dateline: Sioux City, IA!

Sioux City commuters dodge beef livers on road
ASSOCIATED PRESS

November 30, 2006

A semitrailer dumped its load of beef livers on a highway in Sioux City, blocking morning traffic as officials worked to clean up the mess.

The semitrailer careened off an exit ramp from U.S. Highway 20 to Interstate 29 about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, blocking three lanes of traffic.

The mess delayed traffic for about an hour as firefighters washed blood off the highway and then salted the area to keep it from freezing in the frigid temperatures.

The driver of the truck suffered a cut on his forehead and a possible shoulder injury. He was taken to a local hospital, police said. The driver's name wasn't released.

The semi, owned by Coverleaf Cold Storage of Sioux City, left the road and came to rest on its side in the median, police said.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation.

5 Weird Things About Me

I was tagged by Indy.

The player of this game starts with "5 weird things/habits about yourself." Then you tag 5 friends and list their names. Those who get tagged need to write on their blogs about their 5 weird things/habits, as well as state this rule clearly, then tag 5 more victims. Don't forget to leave your victim a comment that says "you're tagged!" in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

5 Weird Things About Me

1. I don't like most treats. I'm okay with cereal and things that humans like, but I don't like dog treats! If someone gives me a dog treat, I won't eat it.

2. I don't like chewing on things. You can leave me unsupervised around anything and I won't destroy it.

3. I like to clean other dogs' ears.

4. I bark more than most Siberians. I still woo, but I bark. Especially when I'm yelling that Lex is stupid!

5. I like walking on the back of the couch. I have very good balance. From that point I'm taller than everyone else.

I tag D'azul, Ranger, Tara, Dakota, & Arwen.

Sneaky Roo Roo

Aurora is a sneaky little girl. She likes tricking us into giving up something that we want. Example, I love the center tube of a roll of toilet paper. My Human usually gives it to me to destroy. But Roo Roo will stare at me and make me so agitated that I charge her. She'll then calmly take the tube and run off with it.

Roo Roo really thinks her cuteness is so irresistible to others that she can apply husky mind control whenever and wherever she decides too. A good example of this was when my Human's friend Large Oh was visiting last year for my Human's birthday. Large Oh had made a birthday cake. It was a white cake with cherry filling and chocolate chips. After the cake was finish, Large Oh and my Human were eating it in the living room. Roo Roo climbed up on Large Oh's lap and lay upside down to encourage belly rubs. Roo Roo was hoping that she was so adorable that Large Oh would set down her cake. Large Oh did find Roo Roo awful cute, but she liked her cake more. So, she stretched her arm out so that the cake was out of Roo Roo's reach. Roo Roo kept stretching her body and Large Oh kept stretching her arm. Ultimately, Large Oh won the battle and Roo Roo didn't get any cake.

Chex Mix Cheddar

My Human brought home a bag of Chex Mix Cheddar yesterday. She let us sample it. Here's our short opinions.

Lex: Liked it. But he'll eat anything. He was more interested in eating it that being intimidated by me.

Misha: Not good. He accepted it, but spit it out.

Fargo: Nope. He doesn't like snacking between meals.

Me: It's okay, but not as good as Cheez-Its.

Aurora: Yum Yum! She eats first, and the only question she asks later is "May I have some more?"

Niki: She wasn't around at sample time. She was outside or something.

Treats!

My Human went to a store and bought some treats that I actually like. She's brought home 2 different types. The first is pictured on both sides of this paragraph. They are a delicious beef chew stick. I generally don't like things like this, but it is wonderful!

She also purchased some biscuits. Again, I usually hate hard biscuits, but these taste fantastic! My Human has made the comment that they smell something like a Chips Ahoy cookie. Meepie read the fine print on the bag and said that they met his standard of excellence. These biscuits come in various flavors and you can buy them in different sizes as well.

On Friday night my Human couldn't figure out what Aurora was obsessed with. She didn't know that one of these delicious beef sticks fell down underneath the end table in the living room. Poor Roo Roo had to wait 2 days for my Human to more the table. She tried to tell the Human, but she just couldn't get her to understand! Humans need to get a better grasp on language.

Just 'cause I'm Not Eating It, Doesn't Mean It's Not Mine!

My Human bought some new dog biscuits: Biscuits - Natural Choice Tartar Control. I mentioned in an earlier post that I really don't see the sense in hard biscuits. Where's my Cheez-Its and Banana Chips??????

The Human gave each of us one of these new biscuits. Here's the review: Lex loved it (he'll eat anything). Aurora loved it (she's never turned down food). Niki liked it. Meepie thought it was "okay." Fargo ignored it for a while, but he ate it. I didn't like it and I didn't eat it!

Below is a photo of me and the biscuit. Ultimately Aurora tricked me into leaving it so that Meepie could eat it.

Stupid Human Snack

We've seen commercials on that TV thing that really sets my Human off. They are for a product called "Smuckers Uncrustables." My Human thinks that they are a really stupid product. She'll squack about them to anyone unfortunate enough to listen to her.

Humans are lazy so we're not surprised that this product exists. How long would it take them to make a pb&j sandwich from scratch? When we've watched our human do this, it will take a minute tops. But to eat these stupid things you have to thaw them for an hour. Then the instructions say you should eat them within 8 to 10 hours. Why don't the human's just eat them frozen???

I don't think that I'd like them, but Aurora (the fruit & cake eater) said she thinks they'd be great!

I ♥ Cheez-It's

I mentioned in my profile that I like Cheez-It® Baked Snack Crackers. They are one of my favorite snacks. I also like banana chips.

I don't like hard dog biscuits. What's the story with those????
